More
than any other style I employ, my abstract realism paintings allow my sense
of fun to emerge. Funky Hippy Dalek for example, came about from seeing a
Dr. Who exhibition that was closing down. It led me to wonder what an unemployed
dalek might do. Alien Visitor Getting Excited Over Gift of Cheese was used
extensively in posters to advertise my solo exhibition in February 2005 which
was sponsored by UNESCO and featured on their web-site.
