The sheer pleasure of playing with colour and form often leads me to create these loose abstracts. In another gallery you will see a selection of my tight abstracts; these paintings are created in much the same way but with the looser style, a heavier emphasis is placed on palette knife work and a more flamboyant and imprecise outlining technique. I am often in a more frivolous mood when I work on these paintings.
